POLICIES & PROCEDURES

  • We accept cash, cashier’s check, and money orders.

  • Payments made with a Visa, Discover, American Express or MasterCard will incur a 3% fee.

  • No personal checks or business checks accepted.

  • Payment is due upon completion of job.

  • We require a 72-hour notification of cancellation. If there is a same day cancellation, you will be charged a percentage of the move.

  • We require a non-refundable $100 deposit to put you on our schedule which will be deducted from your final amount due.

  • Jetty Moving LLC is not responsible for any items not packed by our company.

  • We will not move any small electronics (IPads, laptops, tablets, etc.) that are not packed.

  • We will not move dangerous items or anything of high value (jewelry, weapons, art, cash, etc.).

  • All IKEA type furniture and particle board furniture needs to be emptied out before the move (chests, dressers, china cabinets, etc.) unless otherwise arranged with Jetty Moving LLC.

  • All electronics must be unplugged and placed in boxes before we will move them.

  • Mounting or dismounting televisions is not the responsibility of Jetty Moving LLC unless we are providing packing services.

  • All lamps must be packed in boxes prior to the move.

  • Packing Services are separate from moving services. We are not responsible for providing packing services when we arrive for your move. Jetty Moving LLC will only move what is packed.

  • We do not assemble or disassemble IKEA type and particle board furniture. We are happy to move it intact for you, but we are not responsible for the condition it arrives in at your destination.

  • For us to be able to move front loader washing machines, you must provide the stabilizing bolts. If we don’t have the stabilizing bolts, we will not move the machine.

  • We do not unplug or plug in washers and dryers.

  • Plastic mattress covers are $15 each. You may purchase your own and we can use those. If there is no cover on your mattress, we will not put it on our truck.

  • Any type of glass needs to be properly packaged by the customer, or we can pack it for you for a fee based on the size of the piece. This includes, but isn’t limited to mirrors, ceramics, frames, pots, vases, glass, tabletops, etc. If you do have glass items that need to be packed by us, we MUST know ahead of time so that we can bring the proper materials. We reserve the right to refuse to move these items if not properly packed.

  • If we arrive and the customer isn’t packed, we reserve the right to refuse the move.

  • If you need packing services, please notify us ahead of time.

  • If the customer is not on premises for the packing services, or entire move we reserve the right to refuse services.

  • When we perform a move, we are to be the only crew on premises. This includes but is not limited to painters, plumbers, flooring installers, handymen, etc. If there are other crews present the move will be canceled and a percentage of the move for same day cancellation.
